House of Prayer Assembly of God has been meeting spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of people since 1978. Pastor Daniels was born in Arkansas and later moved to Detroit, Michigan. Marlene Daniels was born and raised in Detroit. After a year of mission work in Arkansas, God called the family to Dallas, Texas at the invitation of the North Texas District of the Assemblies of God. At the time of their move, they had one daughter, Grace. Since that time, they have added another daughter (Joy) and two sons (Joshua and Matthew). They’ve also been blessed with 7 grandchildren. Upon arrival in Dallas, Pastor Daniels was assigned to Trinity Heights of Oak Cliff. With this transition, the church name was changed to House of Prayer Assembly of God. House of Prayer has witnessed God’s move on its’ members and the community. The church has several avenues of ministry, including youth programs, food ministry, and clothing ministry. There is also an outreach to a local apartment.
The House of Prayer church family is excited about welcoming you to visit. ”For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first, and also for the Greek.” (Romans 1:16)
